Too often, we give in to impulses whenever we shop for anything. We see an apple green kitchen appliance set in a store and we think it is so charming that we decide to buy it. Then a few short months later, we go to the same store and see that they have an appliance set in candy apple red and we want to buy it, too.

However, though getting appliances in trendy colours or finishes can keep a room looking modern and new, it is not practical. When choosing a colour, make sure that it is one that you can live with for years. The fashionable colours, unfortunately, do not always meet this requirement. It would be better for you if you choose neutral colours like white or beige since these give your appliances a timeless look.
